WINERY TOUR

This is our classic tour of the London Cru winery. Just a 3-minute walk from West Brompton station, on the tour the participants will discover how we make wines right here in Fulham. We will taste the current range of wines, explore how the wines were made, talk about our local regions, and provide an accessible introduction to how we do things.

THE EVENT

‘Welcome to the Winery’ is a relaxed, entertaining winery tour designed to unravel a few of the mysteries behind winemaking and allow you to taste exceptional wines made in London. All our grapes are sourced locally in England and during the tasting will discuss the methods used to produce each wine. Our winery makes small-batch highly acclaimed English wines and is the perfect point to explore the exciting developments happening in the space of English vino.

Our winemaking team will run this event so feel free to ask any burning questions you might have.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

A guided tour of the London Cru winery for two people which will include the story and tasting of 4 release wines.

Example wines to taste on the day (this will vary depending on availability)

2021 Vintage (Traditional Method English Sparkling Wine)

• Bright and refreshing, with aromas of crisp red apple and freshly picked orchard fruits.

2023 Bacchus

• Crisp and mouth-watering, showcasing the signature flavours of gooseberry and lime that are hallmarks of England’s cooler vineyards. A burst of green apple contributes to its refreshing acidity, while a gentle touch of oak on the finish adds a layer of creaminess and complexity.

2023 Chardonnay

• From one of the best English vintages - this Chardonnay shows extraordinary balance, concentration, and lifted freshness.

2023 Pinot Gris

• 12 hours of skin contact before pressing impart a delicate blush to the colour and a long, creamy texture with a slightly pithy finish. A nuanced and textured wine.

2023 Pinot Noir Précoce

• Carbonic and fresh. Ripe cranberry aromas add to an attractive red-berry nose.
